The Ministry of Interior has been working in cooperation with the Ministry of E-Governance and the Central Election Commission to make sure that there is no interference in the forthcoming elections on June 9, caretaker Minister of Interior Kalin Stoyanov assured. Minister Stoyanov spoke at the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Sofia.

''The meaning of security has changed long ago and is no longer limited to the conception of military protection. Security has become a cross-cutting issue that requires close dialogue and cooperation between institutions, organisations, partners, civil society and the media. Even in the context of the current military conflicts and new threats such as disinformation and cybercrime, public perception of security is not focused on the common threat but is refracted through the lens of personal comfort and inviolability", Minister Stoyanov said.
