Boxer Radoslav Rosenov secures Olympic spot for Paris

European vice-champion in boxing, Radoslav Rosenov, secured an Olympic quota in the up to 63.5 kg category after defeating Alexandru Paraskiv from Moldova at the tournament in Bangkok. He is the fifth Bulgarian boxer to qualify for the Paris Games.

In the women's category, Zlatislava Chukanova began her Olympic qualification with a win in the 50 kg category. The European vice champion defeated Tayonis Cedeno of Venezuela to book her place in the eighth round.

In her second bout, the Bulgarian will take on Rinka Kinoshita of Japan, ranked third in the world. She needs to reach at least the semi-finals to secure a quota for the Olympic Games.
