On June 3 at 18.00 in Art Gallery "Circle" in Kardzhali the photo exhibition "Ethnopalitra - the faces of Balkan folklore" will be opened. The exhibition is the work of journalist and historian Georgi Kulov.

The exhibition is inspired by the diversity of traditional Balkan costumes of the participants of the International Folklore Festival in Strumica (Republic of North Macedonia) and enriched with photos from folklore festivals in Kardzhali.

"The costumes give an incredible beauty to the faces of the Balkan people. They animate the idea of good neighbourliness, and it triumphs at folklore festivals when everyone feels like brothers," Kulov said.

He notes that the Balkans are often compared to a patchwork of ethnicities.
