Ersin Mustafov from JEREMY? with a solo project - "It Can't Rain Forever"

As if in tune with the rainy spring outside, Ersin Mustafov sends us the cheerful message "It can't rain forever" with his song of the same name.

Since we know him as the frontman of the popular JEREMY? band by now, we welcome his first solo project with interest - he wrote the music, lyrics and arrangement. As well as producing the song, Ersin played all the instruments, with only Martin Profirov from P.I.F. recording the drums. And to cement the independent status of the whole project, Ersin also authored footage in the video.

Unlike the songs of JEREMY?, known for their large-scale sound, It Can't Rain Forever presents us with a more chamber-like composition and a more personal philosophy. Supporting the assumption that this is why Ersin released the song alone and not with the band, the musician explains:

"The song is light and accessible and is just the first step of a path that I've known I would take for a long time, but kept putting off. It's not a goodbye to JEREMY?, on the contrary - rather it's another platform to bring me new inspiration. Not every song I have going on has room to be released with JEREMY?, but that doesn't make it any less good or necessary to be heard by someone. It's not the end or beginning of a new era, rather it's a natural progression for any artist. We see examples of such diversification with many popular artists. All I can say is that it's about time I got a grip and shared more of myself."
