Positioning of the Bulgarian representatives in the new European Parliament

Photo: elections.europa.eu

Bulgaria will have 6 seats in the political group of the European People's Party (EPP) in the European Parliament, according to the first results summarized by the press service of the European Parliament. It is estimated that 5 of them will be for GERB-SDS and 1 for "Democratic Bulgaria". Immediately after that come the Bulgarian MEPs in "Renew Europe" - 5, of which three from DPS and two from "We Continue the Change". Two Bulgarian MEPs from "BSP for Bulgaria" will be part of the group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. Three MEPs from "Vazrazhdane" and one from ITN are not yet positioned, as they are newly elected members who do not belong to a political group of the Parliament with an expiring term.
