Viktoriya Tomova qualifies for the quarterfinals in Bad Homburg

The best Bulgarian tennis player Viktoriya Tomova has reached the quarterfinals at the WTA 500 tournament in Bad Homburg. She won a third victory in the German city – one in the qualifying round and two in the main draw.
Viktoriya Tomova won 6:4, 6:2 against the quarterfinalist of the Australian Open in January this year Linda Noskova from the Czech Republic. Her next opponent will be decided in the match between Russia's Anna Blinkova and fourth seed Beatriz Haddad-Maya of Brazil.

By qualifying for the quarter-finals, the Bulgarian has earned 108 points for the world rankings, guaranteeing her a new record ranking and a chance to be among the top 50 by Monday. She made her top 60 debut this week, ranking 58th.
