Orlin Goranov is a singer with a velvety voice loved by several generations of Bulgarians. He celebrates "50 years of magic" on the stage with a tour. The first of the concerts is tonight in Plovdiv, followed by five more in major cities across the country. The grand finale will be on November 19 in Sofia, in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. Each of these events during the summer and autumn will present some of Orlin Goranov's most beloved songs in new concert arrangements. There will also be special guests, too. Kristina Dimitrova, Lubo Kirov, Orlin Pavlov, Alexandra Raeva, Mariana Popova will take part in the concerts. They are performers with whom Orlin Goranov is linked to because of joint projects over the years and sincere friendship.
Speaking about the five decades on stage, the singer says:
"All these years on stage are magic, as music has the power to inspire, to create, to fulfil dreams. It is that thread in life that gathers and connects our memories and emotions. And the greatest magic is that I have the opportunity to share the music with the audience."
His audience is also diverse especially as he is popular not only in the pop genre but also in the classical scene. Orlin Goranov is a sought-after soloist in opera houses at home and abroad. He has also worked with most of the best authors in the pop genre to create many eternal hits. One of them is “Da zapochnem otnachalo” (“Let's start over”), which received a new life in a duet version with another popular singer - Orlin Pavlov. The new arrangement by Ivan Tishev has been added to the well-known music by Alexander Brazitsov and the lyrics of Mihail Belchev. The recording features Milen Kukosharov on keyboards and Miroslav Ivanov on guitar. The song was included in the soundtrack of the movie “Zavrashtane 2” (“Reunion 2”).
