GERB's draft cabinet has three priorities

The first and most important goal is the adoption of the state budget. The second is the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The eurozone is a political issue and if we have a government, I believe we can move it forward and then go to elections, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told the media after his party received the first cabinet-forming mandate. "If the government goes through thanks to a trick, then it will have a very short life, not because somebody will bring it down but because we will walk out", Boyko Borissov went on to say.

"There are three paths of development ahead for Bulgaria", said Prime minister-designate Rossen Zhelyazkov. "The first is the slow normalization of political life. The second is political recession. The third path is political regression. The processes around Bulgaria are developing so dynamically that we cannot afford the second and third paths", Rossen Zhelyazkov said.
