President Rumen Radev has held a working meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. In Athens, they discussed the urgent activation of work on strategic bilateral projects. At a briefing, Radev said that the liquefied natural gas terminal at Alexandroupolis is a strategic project, which should be operational by October. The terminal still has technical issues that are being fixed. Bulgaria participates in the project after acquiring 20% of it, Radev recalled.

Regarding Skopje's call to change the Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighbourliness and Cooperation, President Radev said: "Unfortunately, the state leadership of North Macedonia is clearly not ready for the position. Knowledge of international law is necessary. When an international treaty is signed, it must is implemented by all subsequent governments and not be revised." He added that knowledge of statistics is also needed, as 120,000 North Macedonians already have Bulgarian citizenship, as they have proven and documented Bulgarian origin, BTA reports.
