Bulgarian basketball star Alexander Vezenkov has made the big decision to leave NBA and return to Olympiacos, Greek media reported. He accepted the offer of his former club and is expected to sign a 4-year contract.

Vezenkov preferred not to continue his career with the Toronto Raptors, where he could have moved after one season with Sacramento Kings. The management of Olympiacos has been trying to attract him for a long time. A visit of Vice President of Olympiacos Giorgos Skindilias and Sports Director Christos Bafes, who arrived in Sofia to meet Vezenkov, was a key to the player’s decision, BGNES reports. The contract of the Bulgarian with Olympiacos will bring him 14 million euros, which is a record for the club.
