The Ukrainian Embassy in Bulgaria has called on officials and political forces to refrain from using the topic of the war for political purposes. The diplomatic mission emphasizes that Ukrainians pay the most terrible price every day for stopping the aggressor, and so calls for limiting the aid to Ukraine practically mean inciting support for Russia.

"Delaying or limiting the provision of the necessary aid will not lead to peace, but to more victims and to the front line getting closer to the borders of the EU," the position also reads.

Expressing gratitude for the participation of caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev in the Summit on Peace, as well as for the political, financial, energy, humanitarian and practical defense support provided, the embassy calls on political forces and civil society to consolidate in order to strengthen aid for Ukraine in the name of restoring sustainable peace and justice.
