There are no active fires in the country right now, the Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior announced. The fire in the villages of Voden, Kraynovo and Strandzha near Yambol has been contained on all fronts. On Tuesday, a walkthrough will be made and if there are no active outbreaks, equipment and personnel will be redeployed.

For the fourth day, the struggle of the Greek firefighters with the big fire on a front of 15 km continues near the Bulgarian-Greek border in Slavyanka mountain. The fire has not yet entered Bulgarian territory. Bulgarian firefighters, foresters, military and gendarmerie are on duty with equipment, monitoring the situation.

The fires were localized in dry grasses, deciduous forests and bushes in the lands of the villages of Ovchepoltsi and Tsar Asen in the municipality of Pazardzhik, as well as near Kocherinovo train station.
