Rower Desislava Angelova qualifies for the semi-finals of the Olympics in Paris

Desislava Angelova has qualified for the semi-finals of the singles skiff at the Olympic rowing tournament in Paris after finishing third in her group in the quarter-finals.
The Bulgarian athlete showed very solid rowing and without any problems found a place in the top 3, which was needed to continue to the next stage of the competition. Tara Rigney of Australia took the lead from the start, followed by Kara Kohler of the USA and Angelova, and this ranking did not change until the end of the 2000m distance.

Angelova crossed the finish line in 7:41.25 minutes. She thus secured her place in the semifinals of the discipline, which will be held on Wednesday at 11:14 a.m. Bulgarian time.
