Bulgarian Ivaylo Ivanov is the first referee at the volleyball quarterfinals in Paris

On the first day of the eliminations of the volleyball tournament at the Olympics in Paris, the best Bulgarian referee Ivaylo Ivanov will be the first referee of the men's quarter-final match between Italy and Japan.

At the Olympic Games in the French capital, the organizers choose Ivanov for the fifth day in a row. This year, the Bulgarian established himself as one of the leading referees in the world. He previously refereed the match between the female teams of the Netherlands and the Dominican Republic, Japan vs USA and France vs Canada in the men's tournament, and the women's tournament matches France vs. China, Poland vs. Egypt and Brazil vs. Kenya.
