2024 Paris Olympics

Women's Rights Network: Respect for the courage of boxer Svetlana Kamenova!

"Credit and respect today to the courage of Svetlana Kamenova who fought bravely in what is MEANT to be a female category at the #Olympics. No woman should have to fight against a man. This is not #FairSafeEqual. The integrity of the IOC is in tatters. #SaveWomensSport."

That's what the Women's Rights Network wrote on social media, adding "Save women's sport" and posting a photo of the Bulgarian boxer with the "X" gesture, who was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the boxing at the Paris Olympics after a clash with Taiwan's Yu-Ting Lin.
"Congratulations to Svetlana Kamenova for her fighting spirit and great game! She found the courage to fight not only for victory in what was considered a doomed match, but also for defending normality and Olympic principles in sport," Bulgarian President Rumen Radev also wrote on Facebook yesterday.

We remind you that the boxing in Paris-2024 is overshadowed by a dispute over the eligibility of two athletes with XY chromosomes in the women's competition.
