Consumer confidence rose by 5.6 points in July, according to a survey by the National Institute of Statistics. According to consumers, the general economic situation in Bulgaria has been improving over the past 12 months, and expectations for the next 12 months are also improving.

More positive compared to 3 months earlier are the assessments of changes in the financial situation of households.

Unemployment is expected to remain at the current level.

Respondents believe that there has been an increase in prices over the past 12 months, but it is less than in April.

In July, there was a slight improvement in saving conditions, and a more positive attitude to spending on durable goods such as a car, new home or home improvements was reported.

Previously, consumer confidence in April rose by 1.5 points.
