During the match, Bilyana Dudova was hit in the head by her opponent, and doctors had to be called in twice to stop her nosebleeds.
Bulgaria’s other wrestling contestant Yuliana Yaneva also lost her match in the 76 kg. category – at the 1/8 finals she lost by 1-7 to Milaimys Marin Potrille, Cuba. Yuliana Yaneva will advance to the repechages for the bronze if her opponent qualifies for the final.
