Servicemen to hold open alpine training session in Smolyan

An open Alpine training session will take place today in front of the Rhodope Drama Theatre in the town of Smolyan. The event of the 101st Alpine Regiment of the Army is on the occasion of the International Youth Day.

During the event, techniques for descending the so-called alpine trolley will be demonstrated. In addition, alpine equipment and weapons - pistols, rifles, binders and transport equipment - will be shown.

Representatives of the Military District - Smolyan will also participate in the alpine training to promote the military profession and the upcoming competition for new soldiers in the formation in October.
