Bulgaria’s football champion Ludogorets dropped out in the third qualifying phase of the Champions League, after losing 2-7 after extra time to the champion of Azerbaijan Qarabağ. Though playing as a home team, Ludogorets dropped out with a total result of 4-8 after winning by 2-1 in the first match as an away team.
