The unemployment rate in Bulgaria stood at 5.41% in July, the National Employment Agency says.

Compared to a year earlier the number of unemployed persons has gone down by 107,000 or 7.6%. The total number of economically inactive persons over the age of 15 is 2,449,000, of them 40.4% are men and 59.6% women.
