Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 26 August 2024

Intermittent showers to cool down temperatures on Monday

Sunny weather will prevail on Monday. In the afternoon and until midnight, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in some places there will be short-term precipitation accompanied by thunder. They will be more significant in the extreme southeastern regions. The maximum temperatures will be between 31° and 36°C, in Sofia – around 30°C.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. In the afternoon, clouds will develop and in places there will be short-term rain showers - temporarily intense in the Strandzha-Sakar region. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 24°C, at 2,000 m – 17°C.

Sunny weather will prevail along the Black Sea coast. In the afternoon and overnight on Tuesday, mainly along the south coast, there will be short-lived, temporarily intense showers with thunder in places. It will blow to a moderate northeast wind. The maximum temperatures will be between 29° and 32°C, and the sea water – 27°-28°C.
