Conducting fair elections is a priority for the caretaker cabinet

Caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev held a conversation with caretaker Minister of Interior Atanas Ilkov in connection with the preparation for the upcoming elections on October 27, the press center of the Council of Ministers reported. Premier Glavchev noted that it is of utmost importance that the Ministry of Interior officials, as before, strictly abide by the law and do not succumb to any provocations.

''Conducting free and fair elections is a top priority for the caretaker cabinet and the process should be carried out with full transparency and equal distance from all political forces'', said Dimitar Glavchev. He also reminded that the organization of the elections is the duty of the Central Election Commission and the government assists in the implementation of the logistics.
