The Minister of Economy and Industry Petko Nikolov will today be on a working visit to the Danube town of Vidin, reports BNR Vidin. During his visit, Nikolov will visit the production base of the only Bulgarian state-owned dairy company LB Bulgaricum and will meet with its employees and managers.

On 21 August, the company's management issued a statement refuting "speculative" allegations that the company's production base in the city was to be closed. Minister of Economy Petko Nikolov also told the parliament that priority was being given to modernising and upgrading the production base of LB Bulgaricum EAD in Vidin.
