The divisions within the groups of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) are among the leading topics among the members of parliament. Ramadan Atalay from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms’ faction affiliated with Ahmed Dogan expects the Central Election Commission to ''make the right decision'', while Yordan Tsonev from the faction affiliated with Delyan Peevski stated that he is waiting for the decision and has no expectations. "DPS, as a symbol, has always belonged to our honorary chairman and the structures of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, not to the Magnitsky structures", said Ramadan Atalay. For his part, Delyan Peevski said that there is one DPS and one legitimate coalition - "DPS - A New Beginning".

MP Georgi Svilenski, who was recently expelled from BSP, commented that efforts should be made to work towards unity and that MPs should communicate with each other to address the people's issues. "That’s why we are here", said Georgi Svilenski. According to Etien Levi from the Velichie group, the disintegration of party groups is a healthy process and "this will lead to cleansing". " I feel a responsibility because I am a member of this parliamentary group. We are the ones who stayed with the clear intention that we have to do our job, and this will continue", Etien Levi pointed out.
