From today until September 15, Sofia's Vitosha boulevard and the park in front of the National Palace of Culture are transformed into a huge open-air bookstore.

The next edition of "Book Alley", organized by the "Bulgarian Book" Association, gives an appearance to 138 publishing houses, which will present their newest and most sought-after titles. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to view the book production located in 59 tents.

Every day, on a specially built stage, there will be literary readings, premieres of new books, meetings with authors, as well as entertaining games for children.

For the first time, the Festival of non-fiction "Science, Art and Culture" will be held on the Alley of the Book. For two days, works will be presented in the categories "History", "Art Studies", "Cultural Tourism", "Self-Knowledge" and "Ethnology".

The literary exhibition is part of the Cultural Calendar of Sofia Municipality and the "Sofia Celebrates September 17" Program.
