Guests and residents of Sofia will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the period of Late Antiquity and the reign of Emperor Constantius II, son of Constantine the Great. The reenactment is organized on September 21 and 22 by the Association for Antiquity Reconstruction "Mos Maiorum Ulpiae Serdicae" as part of the festival "Serdica Is My Rome". Spectators will be able to see how people dressed in ancient times and learn about the typical crafts of the era.

Vladimir Popov from "Mos Maiorum Ulpiae Serdicae" told BTA that the events are attended by an audience that is keenly interested in history, asks questions and wants to learn something new. That is why, the organizers aim to enrich their knowledge and make a connection between Bulgaria's past and present.

In addition to donning ancient attire, the audience can participate in crafting clay vessels and other ancient items and thus take part in the re-creation of crafts to experience the lifestyle of people who lived 1,400 years ago.
