Weather forecast for September 20

Warm and cloudy with rainfalls in the mountains

On Friday it will be cloudy, as in the afternoon cloudiness will be significant. There will be precipitation in some places, as in the south-western massifs and in the south-eastern areas of the country it will be intense. The lowest temperatures will be between 10°C and 16°C; in Sofia - about 12°C. The highest will be between 19 and 24°C; in the capital city - about 19°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with showers. Air temperatures will be up to 22-24°C, close to the temperature of the sea water.

In the mountains it will be cloudy and foggy. There will be rainfalls over the southwestern massifs, over the western part of Stara Planina, as well as in Strandzha and Sakar. Snow will fall on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin. The highest temperature at 1200 m above sea level will be up to 14°C; at 2000 m - up to 7°C.
