Bulgaria's caretaker PM says no new talks with Skopje

I do not think that the tone that the Republic of North Macedonia has been using lately will help it become an EU country. It is not about any new negotiations either. We have made enough compromises with our national identity and they just have to respect the EU requirements, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said in Sofia.

Regarding the frequent provocations of the government in Skopje, Glavchev stressed that Bulgaria is a predictable and loyal member of the EU and supports the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries, but insists on individual consideration of the contribution of each candidate country for membership in the community, BGNES reports.

Because of the hate speech, GERB MEPs will demand the expulsion of Prime Minister Christian Mitkoski's Macedonian party VMRO-DPMNE from the European People's Party, MEP Andrey Kovatchev told BNT.
