Bulgarian PM takes part in Summit of the Future in New York

Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev is on a visit to the US where he is to take part in the Summit of the Future on September 22 and 23 in New York. The forum is the pivotal event during the so-called United Nations summit week, bringing together state and government leaders from all over the world. The idea to convene the summit and to adopt a Pact for the Future belongs to the UN secretary general and goes back to 2021, and the aim is to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future. PM Glavchev will take part in the event with statements during the plenary debate at the summit, and in the interactive dialogue during the common digital future panel.

During his visit to the US, PM Glavchev will have meetings with representatives of the Bulgarian communities in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
