In a speech to the DPS party members, honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan attacked Delyan Peevski's faction without mentioning the name of the chairman of the parliamentary group of the movement.

"I am ashamed of this boy's actions. Their big goal is to do everything possible to eliminate DPS from the political scene", Ahmed Dogan said, defining the politician he was talking about as a "threat to democracy". From his words, it became clear that Delyan Peevski had taken positions in the judicial system without the assistance of the party, but on its behalf, which he now uses for personal interests.

Ahmed Dogan admitted that he himself also bears the blame for "this phenomenon", adding that the DPS must find the will and strength to apologize to the society. According to him, the party's defence system has been reduced to almost zero. "In some way, we consciously or unconsciously stimulated the single-minded decisions that brought us here," the honorary chairman pointed out.
