"The queues at the borders between Bulgaria and Romania are not a Bulgarian or Romanian problem. This is a corridor on which the European single market depends, it is not just a Bulgarian problem," Novakov was quoted as saying by BTA.
According to him, the stabilisation of the political situation in Bulgaria is a "key" for the country to make further progress in lifting Schengen land border controls.
