Rumen Radev reaffirmed that Bulgaria strongly condemns the war in Ukraine, which "has led to hundreds of thousands of victims and enermous suffering". In his words, any diplomatic effort aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine in line with the United Nations Charter and international law, should be supported.
President Radev also called for a ceasefire and the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip. Rumen Radev emphasized that Bulgaria supports the European integration of the Western Balkans.
