The first coordination meeting with the participation of all structures involved in the contract for the acquisition of Stryker combat vehicles for the Bulgarian Land Forces was held under the leadership of Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov. The participating representatives from Bulgaria and the United States paid particular attention to issues related to the final assembly of the vehicles.

The two sides discussed the progress achieved and made decisions related to the implementation of the project, reported the Ministry of Defense. This is the first of a series of upcoming meetings between representatives of the two countries. The participants expressed satisfaction with what has been achieved so far and with the format of the meeting, which allows for timely discussions of issues and approval of proposals related to the implementation of the project.
