Representatives of the diplomatic missions in Sofia together with a team of refugees and youth and student organizations will participate in a charity football tournament on the grounds of the National Football Base "Boyana" in the capital.
Funds raised during the competition will be used for the cause of Ambassadors' League 2024 - "School of Human Rights", and trainings for children and youth will be held throughout the country.
The tournament is organized for the ninth year in a row by the United Nations Association of Bulgaria in partnership with the Bulgarian Football Union and the UNHCR. The teams of Germany, Iran, Vietnam and Turkey, as well as those of the National Youth Forum, the Relations Research Student Association, the United Nations Society in Bulgaria and refugees who have sought asylum in the country will take part in the tournament.
