Half of young people fear financial problems, 25% are afraid of failing at work

Half of young people in Bulgaria with a monthly income of more than EUR 1 000 are afraid of financial problems, according to a representative survey by Trend. The "Young People in Bulgaria - Mental Risks, Challenges and Perspectives" survey was commissioned by the Network for Personality and Talent Development Association. 

According to the data, 42 per cent of young people aged 15-19 are at high risk of alcohol addiction. Young people's biggest fears are being the victim of teasing and negative reactions. Family and friends are key to support and security. Physical aggression, cyberbullying, domestic violence and sexual harassment are among the most common forms of violence experienced by young people, according to the survey.
