Bulgaria's ambassador to North Macedonia Zhelyazko Radukov held a meeting in Skopje with North Macedonia's European Affairs Minister Orhan Murtezani, BTA reports.
Murtezani has expressed hope for successful parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, as an important step for the progress of bilateral relations. He has pointed out Skopje's strong commitment to the European agenda. The two pointed out the importance of strengthening mutual trust and cooperation in the context of European integration, "which should be considered a common strategic priority". The "commitment to a constructive and transparent dialogue to promote good neighbourliness and solve common challenges in a spirit of cooperation and partnership" was also highlighted. The meeting was held just hours before the visit of the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to Skopje.
