Voting with the option "I support no one" has been gaining popularity in Bulgaria as 82,618 people chose it in the parliamentary elections on October 27, 2024. In the parliamentary elections in April 2021, a total of 47,749 people voted with this option.
In an interview with BNR, journalist Kristiyan Yulzari said that before the elections, attempts were made in social networks to convince people that voting with "I support no one" made no sense. However, he recalled that even if such voters do not recognize any of the candidates, their vote prevents small parties with bought votes from entering the National Assembly by raising the threshold.
