Young people out of a job are mostly with a secondary school education

Almost half of the unemployed under the age of 29 in this country have secondary school education, indicate the latest data of the National Employment Agency.

There are 17.350 people from this age bracket registered at the job centres –7,570 of them have secondary school education, and 2,400 are university graduates. More than 11,000 young people who are out of a job have no profession or speciality, the analysis shows.

The highest number of young people who are unemployed is in the region of Plovdiv, ten times more than in Gabrovo. Sofia-region is top of the list in the number of young unemployed people with a secondary or university education.

During the same period there were a little under 17,000 people under the age of 29 registered at job centres.
