Vice President Iotova presents replica of a Thracian phial to the mayor of Los Angeles

Vice President Iliana Iotova met with Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass. Iotova paid a visit to the American city on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "Ancient Thrace and the Classical World. Treasures from Bulgaria, Romania and Greece" in the Getty Museum. 

The vice president presented the mayor of Los Angeles with a replica of a phial from the Panagyurishte Treasure. She invited Bass to visit the exhibition, in which over 90% of all exhibits presented come from Bulgaria. Iotova and Bass discussed topics of bilateral nature, with the vice president indicating that she expected the upcoming third session of the Bulgaria-US Strategic Dialogue in 2025 to stimulate the strategic partnership between the two countries in areas such as energy diversification and the defense industry.
