GERB will try to find a path to a majority for forming a government through the formulation of common goals, the party's Deputy Chairman Daniel Mitov said in an interview with BNR. According to MP Daniel Mitov, the attempts to create a cordon sanitaire around Delyan Peevski’s party represent an escape by ''We Continue the Change'' (PP) from talks on forming a majority. ''PP are obviously incapable to hold talks in Parliament'', Daniel Mitov told BNR.
"We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria'' will discuss joint actions with GERB-SDS only if representatives of ''Movement for Rights and Freedoms – A New Beginning'', led by Delyan Peevski, are not elected as Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly or as chairpersons of parliamentary committees'', PP Co-chairman Kiril Petkov said in an interview with BNR.
Kiril Petkov outlined the key points on which We Continue the Change- Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) are ready to negotiate- ''The law on the anti-corruption commission, the whistleblower act and the personal insolvency act, which are currently preventing ten billion from entering the Bulgarian economy". According to Kiril Petkov, the Supreme Judicial Council, whose term has expired, should not be allowed to elect Borislav Sarafov as Prosecutor General ''in a one-horse race".
