Road Infrastructure Agency: There are no blocked roads in the country

Sofia-bound traffic along Struma motorway is slow, drivers have been posting on Facebook. Drivers in this region should drive carefully due to the challenging weather conditions.

The Road Infrastructure Agency has announced no roads in the country have been blocked. Road surfaces in Sofia are being processed for snow. 159 snowplows are out and working to clear the snow. At this time public transport is running on time. Sofia Airport is functioning normally in winter conditions, the airport press centre told the Bulgarian news agency BTA. Traffic is normal at all border check points, the border police website writes.
