From 9 PM on 16 November until 7 AM on 17 November, the Turkish customs administration is suspending the processing of freight carrying vehicles at the border check points with Bulgaria at Lesovo and Kapitan Andreevo for the implementation of the new computerised transit system NCTS-P5. For this reason, the customs authorities are planning the suspension of the processing of freight vehicles for a period of around 12 hours. During this time the passage of freight vehicles from and to Türkiye will not be possible. The implementation of the new system will not affect tourist traffic, and cars and buses will be processed. The Bulgarian authorities have coordinated their actions for organizing traffic and processing freight vehicles with the aim of preventing traffic congestion in the regions of the two border check points, BGNES reports.
