“Bulgarian Socialist Party-United Left (BSP) and Vazrazhdane have collected 55 signatures for approaching the Constitutional Court in a bid to restore the president’s rights to form caretaker cabinets,” said Borislav Gutsanov at a joint briefing with Vazrazhdane in parliament building.

“We are proposing that the option for persons with dual citizenship running for members of parliament be declared unconstitutional,” said Natalia Kiselova, MP from the Bulgarian Socialist Party-United Left.

Carrying posters reading “Kiro, we are not phantoms”, in reference to Kiril Petkov, MP from We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria (PP/DB), supporters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms-New Beginning (DPS), affiliated with Delyan Peevski, organized a protest in front of parliament building. They say that their votes are real and that they are not worried by a recount of the ballots, or by new elections.
