Children's drawings and the 'Tree of Wishes' will delight Plovdiv residents in the coming days

After the success of the "We are the children of the river" festival in September, a civic foundation is once again collaborating with the Plovdiv City Centre Municipality. This time they have organised an exhibition of the same name, featuring children's paintings inspired by nature. The exhibition "We are the children of the river" will be held in two venues - first in the Municipal Administration building and later in the Regional Museum of Natural History.

Part of the exhibition is an art installation called The Tree of Wishes, which was also part of the festival in September. The tree is made entirely from recycled materials.

Author Mira Mohsen's idea is for visitors to write their dreams for the future of Plovdiv and their ideas for a more sustainable future for the city, and hang them on the tree. At the end of the project, all the suggestions and wishes will be turned into a letter and sent to the municipality.

From December 1 to 10, the tree will also be placed at the Ivan Vazov National Library in the city.
