A photographic exhibition "Sylvie Vartan and her Bulgaria", dedicated to the French music icon of Bulgarian origin, will be open to the public from December 4, 2024, at the gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris, BTA reported.

"The exhibition, which collects nearly 50 unique photographs from different years of Sylvie Vartan's returns to Bulgaria, can be viewed until January 30, 2025. It includes footage from the singer's concerts, as well as moments from her long-standing donation and charity work in our country. Rare photos from her childhood will also be exhibited, as well as family photos with Vartan's husband - Tony Scotti, with her son and daughter - David and Darina," the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris announced.

The exhibition is part of the program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Sylvie Vartan, and is organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris in conjunction with the “Sylvie Vartan for Bulgaria” Foundation weeks after her farewell concerts in Paris in early November 2024.

At a special ceremony within the framework of the exhibition, the Bulgarian Minister of Culture Nayden Todorov will present Sylvie Vartan with the institution’s highest award – the “Golden Age” – a necklace for contribution to Bulgarian culture.
