340,000 pensioners will receive a Christmas bonus of EUR 50

Pensioners whose monthly pension is below the poverty line of 526 leva (EUR 269) will receive a Christmas bonus of 100 leva (EUR 50), said caretaker Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Ivanov. 

The money will be transferred by December 19. Minister Ivanov added that nearly 340,000 elderly people will receive a Christmas bonus. On Wednesday, the caretaker cabinet is expected to adopt a decree to provide Christmas bonuses for the most vulnerable pensioners.
