President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Iotova met with the club of foreign ambassadors speaking Bulgarian. The sides discussed topics related to the public and political agenda in Bulgaria and international topics, reported BTA.
They discussed the political stability in the country amidst a crisis, the fight against corruption and the responsibility of the institutions, the judicial system, the sanctions regime imposed by strategic partners of Bulgaria, as well as the state’s actions to strengthen and develop ties with Bulgarian communities abroad. The main international topic discussed by Rumen Radev and the ambassadors was the war in Ukraine. The meeting took place at the invitation of Polish Ambassador Maciej Szymanski, who initiated the club's establishment and hosted the event.
