Negotiations to form a government between GERB and the parliamentary forces invited by the party will take place between December 16 and 20. The political talks will precede the handing over by the president of the first mandate in the 51st National Assembly to form a government.

Negotiations between GERB-SDS and the Democratic Bulgaria (DB) coalition to form a government will begin on Monday, GERB MP Raya Nazaryan told BNT.

She said that GERB has a strict schedule for conducting the negotiations, as well as specific topics and sectoral policies to be discussed.

MP Nadezhda Yordanova from DB confirmed that negotiations with GERB to form a government will begin on Monday. The BSP leadership has selected a contact group that, with a number of conditions, is authorized to negotiate to form a government with GERB, announced the co-chairman of the left-wing parliamentary group Atanas Zafirov.
