Negotiations for forming a government between the future mandate-holder GERB-SDS and the parliamentary parties continue. Today, GERB-SDS sat down at the negotiating table with representatives of the BSP-United Left.

The negotiating teams of the two parliamentary forces were unanimous that Bulgaria needs a regular government with a full governing mandate to get out of the political and financial crisis it has been in for the past 4 years. Among the topics that unite the two coalitions is the formation of an anti-corruption majority with a pro-European character. The new regular government must end the series of elections and guarantee the adoption of a balanced budget, the social security of the people and a calm investment environment in the country.

BSP-United Left raised the topic of the need for the super-rich to contribute to reducing social inequality. GERB-SDS emphasized that their main priority remains Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone. At the meeting, it was agreed that the two coalitions would work on an agreement that would form the basis of the legislative program of the National Assembly.
