Most of the countries in NATO and the EU have agreements on security cooperation with Ukraine. This was commented by the Chief of Defense, Admiral Emil Eftimov, in response to a journalistic question about the 10-year Agreement on Security Cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine. According to him, there is nothing new in this agreement for the Bulgarian Army, "which would put us in a situation to solve any extraordinary new tasks".
At the end of November, the Bulgarian caretaker government adopted a decision approving the signing of an updated draft agreement on security cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine, BTA reminds. The agreement was recently successfully finalized within the framework of expert consultations with the Ukrainian side.
